Small Rocket Competition

The Small Rocket Competition (SRC) is a student-led program that challenges teams to design, build, and launch high-powered model rockets in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The competition emphasizes creativity, technical skill, and teamwork, giving students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to a real engineering project.

 

Over the course of the competition, participants work through the full design and build cycle while learning essential skills in systems engineering, manufacturing, testing, and project management. Beyond technical growth, SRC fosters leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration across diverse student teams.
